Introduction

Asiania is an innovative online event management company, aim to provide an unique experience for organisers and audiences.

They were having a difficulty developing the product when I took over from their previous UI/UX designer. They had a lot of requirements, my task was to refine and build the MVP.

To solve the problems, I quickly adapted to the team during the evolutionary development phase with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Problem statement

How might we provide a highly customisable online event tool that maximise the benefit through interactions for the attendees and achieve sustainability for the organisers?

Solution

Refining Landing Page, Dashboard and Flow

The Landing Page was functional but the copy was translated in a less ideal way, ill suited for the worldwide market, so I revamped the copy and find the balance between the original message (from Mandarin)  and the English version.

The Dashboard was lacking in responsiveness, I made it more visually appealing, easy to navigate, entice visitors to explore further.

I also refined the create scene flow, which was previously confusing and difficult to use. I simplified the process, making it more intuitive and easy to use.

Responsive Features & Modules

Prioritizes attendee engagement with custom tools and features for corporate webinars, virtual trade shows, and networking events.

Dynamic chat rooms, Q&A interfaces, and polls foster audience engagement and feedback. Focus on client satisfaction for an immersive and rewarding virtual event experience.

The mobile version was also easy to use and provided a seamless experience for mobile users.

Payment, Ticketing and Billing Flow

I also revamped the payment flow and the ticketing & billing page. My aim was to create a user-friendly page that provided all the necessary information about the ticketing process. The redesigned page simplifies the ticketing process and ensures that users can easily navigate through the payment flow.

Results

In conclusion, my experience joining the team during the evolutionary development phase highlighted the challenges of not having a stable team. However, this realization fueled my commitment to delivering my best to the project. Collaborating with the development team allowed us to successfully implement Agile and Scrum methodologies, enabling us to achieve our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) goals effectively and efficiently.

I am thrilled to see the widespread adoption of our product by event organizers, and the growing number of attendees is a testament to the value it provides. Overall, I am immensely proud of our achievements and look forward to future opportunities to collaborate and build upon our successes.
